Historical sites in Scotland
Largo House, once a stately mansion in the Scottish Fife, was built in 1750 and served as the residence of the Lundin family. Over the years, the building experienced various uses and changes. During World War II, it served as the headquarters of the Polish parachute brigade. In 1951, the roof was removed to avoid local taxes, leading to a progressive decay of the building. Today, only ruins of the once imposing house remain.
